About EdmodoCon

EdmodoCon brings together educators from around the world for a full day of professional
development.Teachers share, inspire and showcase the ways they are using Edmodo and other digital tools in
the classroom. It’s a great day to learn about new tools, discover resources, and connect with educators.

Here are the answers to our most common questions

When is EdmodoCon? What time does it start and end?

This year, EdmodoCon is Wednesday, August 6, 2014. It starts at 7:00 am PDT and runs until 6 pm PDT; you can come and go as you please throughout the day.

Who will speaking at EdmodoCon 2014?

EdmodoCon is all about teachers learning from teachers. The event will kickoff with Edmodo’s Chief Product Officer, Nic Borg delivering the keynote. After that, educators around the globe will be selected to present. This year’s speakers have not yet been selected. If you are interested in presenting, submit a proposal.

Will I get a certificate after participating in EdmodoCon?

Yes, a certificate will be available for download at

Will EdmodoCon be recorded?

Yes, the recording will be available after the conference at We encourage you to subscribe to our blog for updates on when they will be available.

How can I get updates about EdmodoCon?

Join the EdmodoCon Community. To join, login to your Edmodo Account, and type EdmodoCon in the search bar at the top. Select the EdmodoCon community and click the “Follow” button at the top right corner.

Will I get an Edmodo badge for participating?

Yes. Note that you must register for EdmodoCon with the email address associated with your Edmodo account and login the day of the event, to receive your badge.

How to participate

To participate in EdmodoCon, begin by joining the EdmodoCon Community in advance of the conference.
Here you can connect with other attendees and get updates about the event.

Day of Event

On the day of the event you will need to login to the webcast to watch EdmodoCon. We also encourage you to participate on Edmodo. Each session will have an Edmodo group associated with it. The group join URLs will be available at and in the EdmodoCon Community. Join the group to network with other educators attending that session, access presentation materials and keep the conversation going after the session ends.

Viewing Parties

We believe learning together is better so we encourage you to consider hosting a viewing party in your school, district or other institution of learning. Gather your colleagues anytime between 7 am PDT and 6 pm PDT on August 6th and participate together.
